Oelheld is a leading manufacturer of metalworking fluids.
The TOOLGRIND product series grinding oils (sharpening and cooling oils) are products of the middle and lower price range. However, all this is compared to Oelheld’s SintoGrind product series. Because the SintoGrind product series is unique in the world and, as a rule, other manufacturers have no alternative to offer SintoGrind class products.
The ToolGrind product series is suitable for the production of cutting instruments, sharpening and the production of other precision products where a somewhat more favorable price is important.
The base oil of most of the ToolGrind series products is the highest quality gas-to-liquid (GTL) base oil or hydrocrack (HC) base oil available on the market. NB! Products produced on the basis of GTL oils are subject to EU special excise duty and their sale in the Baltic States is only on special orders (not our standard stock product). We mainly market the following products from the ToolGrind series: ToolGrind HSS-X 1400, ToolGrind TC-X 1000. For customers who are already using the GTL-based ToolGrind TC-X 620, we recommend that they use the ToolGrind TC-X 1000 or the more expensive SintoGrind TC-X 1000 as a replacement product.

The main advantages of using the ToolGrind series products are: relatively fast separation of air bubbles from the oil, product stability in long-term use, quality of the processed surface, very good cooling and lubricating properties, and favorable price.
