Optimized log sorting and control of the logyard
Microtec Winlog Sorting Optimization is an all-encompassing control suite for any logyard or infeed line.
The automatic sorting of logs is based on geometry, quality, species, or other customer-specific criteria. Payment of the logs is handled in parallel with the sorting.

Winlog connects to all MiCROTEC’s log scanners and integrates seamlessly with existing software. Winlog also manages suppliers and shifts, creates reports and exports data. With upgraded GPS capabilities, it manages and optimizes the routes of the trucks while also improving the bin filling level monitoring. Winlog is customized to visualize the customer line. It implements the tracking of the logs on the line by receiving all the signals from the line’s PLC. Winlog can control the kickers of the sorting line and can also communicate with existing metal detectors and butt-end reducers.

Incoming material, shifts and downtime management
Winlog works on takeovers. A takeover can be defined by a supplier load or for a specific sorting purpose. Exports and reports can be related to specific suppliers. Winlog can keep track of the operator on each shift and control and report all the downtimes by reason.

With upgraded GPS capabilities, manage and optimize the routes of the trucks while also improving the bin filling level monitoring. In this way, even the fuel consumption of the trucks is optimized in a very sustainable way!
