Walter Helitronic Raptor for Estonia’s leading woodworking company

In mid-August, we completed the commissioning and training of the Walter Helitronic Raptor 5-axis CNC controlled cutting tool sharpening device at a leading Estonian woodworking company.

Walter Maschinenbau GmbH is the world’s leading manufacturer of cutting tool sharpening equipment.
It is a pleasure to note that sharpening equipment designed for the metalworking industry is increasingly being used for sharpening cutting tools used in the woodworking industry. The model Helitronic Raptor allows sharpening cutting tools weighing up to 50 kg. Maximum tool diameter D=320mm. Maximum cutting tool length for top grinding L=350mm and for face grinding L=280mm.
