After Microtec Srl. took over the Swedish scanner manufacturer Wood Eye AB, a new hardware and software base was developed in cooperation with researchers from Sweden, Italy, Germany and the USA, which is shared by the Microtec Goldeneye and Microtec Woodeye scanners. While the Goldeneye scanners are designed for scanning softwood, the Microtec Woodeye scanners are designed for scanning hardwood and softwood. The Woodeye 300 scanners are equipped with the latest generation camera, lighting and software. The Woodeye software has been the best and most customer-friendly software on the market for 30 years.
