Different technologies are used in the production of CLT (cross-laminated timber). Either each subsequent cross-layer is formed from separate lamellas that are pressed together in a press into a single CLT panel in one pressing pass (ideally both top pressure + side pressure), or pre-finished side-glued panels are produced, which are then calibrated and then pressed together in a special press (only top pressure) into a single CLT panel.
The Robert Bürkle CLT and BSP (Brettsperrholz)=X-LAM press is designed to glue together finished side-glued panels into a single CLT panel.
Maximum CLT panel size up to 3500 x 16000 (18200) mm. Product thickness 65-650mm
